As if there weren’t enough playable characters in the upcoming Resident Evil 6 already, Ada Wong is joining the fray with her very own single-player campaign. Similar to her campaign in Resident Evil 4, it will “provide her perspective on the bioterrorist outbreaks that threaten to wipe out the world’s population” and will be available once players have completed Leon, Jake and Chris’s stories.
Capcom’s press release also detailed an all-new online mode titled Agent Hunt, which allows flesh-hungry gamers to play as a zombie, J’avo or other C-virus mutation. Interestingly, this mode allows players to hop into others’ games, with the aim of killing off the human characters by utilising their special abilities. Agent Hunt mode is accessible in Leon, Chris and Jake’s campaigns and are only available after you complete their respective games.
It sounds like Resident Evil 6 is shaping up to be quite a hefty package indeed. The game is set to be released on October 2nd on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with the PC version coming soon.
