Shuhei Yoshida has taken to the stage at the Playstation Experience Showcase to finally make good on Playstation’s E3 Parappa The Rapper tease, with confirmation that the original Playstation game is being remastered for the Playstation 4 to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

If that wasn’t enough for you, he also revealed that Playstation Portable franchises Locoroco and Patapon will also be coming to Playstation 4. Locoroco was an excellent new platformer for the Playstation Portable that required rotating the world and bouncing locoroco’s around the stage to complete levels, while Patapon was an excellent rhythm game that had you controlling the titular Patapon’s as they fought to survive.

All of these games should release for Playstation 4 in 2017.
