Orcs Must Die 2 Brings Co-Op Killing

April 3, 2012

Robot Entertainment have announced that their highly popular orc-slaying PC and Xbox Live Arcade game, Orcs Must Die, will be getting a sequel. This will come as great news for fans of the original tower defense game, especially since Orcs Must Die 2 will be adding co-op gaming to the campaign mode. You’ll be able to play through the full campaign either by yourself, or with a friend. Robot Entertainment have promised plenty of new content, including two new characters, lots of new enemies pouring through the rifts, and “an enourmous armory of new and classic defenses” including new magical items. The two new characters are the War Mage, and the Sorceress. The upgrade system has also been overhauled. You’ll always earn skulls for replaying levels, and the skulls can be spent on permanent upgrades for each of your defenses. An announcement trailer was released:
