Nobuo Uematsu To Attend Distant Worlds in Sydney

January 31, 2017

MJR Presents, Square Enix and AWR Music have announced that in celebration of the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy they are bringing Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy to Australian shores for the first time. Fans of the Final Fantasy series can rejoice in being able to finally watch the symphonic multimedia celebration of the music in Final Fantasy, but the great news doesn’t stop there.

In addition to Grammy-award winner Arnie Roth conducting the orchestra for this special one-time performance, Nobuo Uematsu, the famed composer of most mainline Final Fantasy soundtracks, will be in attendance. The show will also include new scores and arrangements created specifically for it, alongside some of your favourite classic and modern Final Fantasy tracks.

Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy will be in Sydney in July, although a specific date has yet to be confirmed, and ticket go on sale at MJR Presents from Thursday February 16.
