Nintendo Classic Mini retro promo videos

October 2, 2016

To mark the upcoming launch of the Nintendo Classic Mini, Nintendo have put out a new retro-style promo video showing off the capabilities of the retro console.

The video shows off a number of video filtering modes to emulate classic CRT displays, as well as the option for up to four restore points in each game. Restore points work like emulator save states, and mimic a similar feature from the Wii and Wii U Virtual Console.

There’s also the nifty-looking Japanese version, which is, of course, styled after the Famicom, Japan’s version of the NES. The Famicom version of the Classic Mini also features a different game lineup to the Western version, as demonstrated by this video:

The Nintendo Classic Mini will go on sale on November 11 for $99.95.
