New Kingdom Hearts 3D Screenshots

Wednesday marked the 10 year anniversary of the release of the original Kingdom Hearts game in Japan. To celebrate the milestone, Sqaure-Enix have released a bunch of new screenshots for the seventh game in the series, the upcoming Kingdom Hearts: 3D (Dream Drop Distance) for Nintendo 3DS. The screenshots are from the game’s opening movie which was created by Square’s Visual Works studio. There’s some familiar faces on show, including Xion from the Nintendo DS game Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. The game was developed by the same team who worked on 2010′s critically acclaimed PSP game, Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.

The game was released yesterday in Japan, and is scheduled for release in Australia later this year. Rocket Chainsaw will keep you up to date on any new developments.
