BioWare today revealed a five minute Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay trailer at the The Game Awards 2016. The video demonstrates exploration, cut-scenes, and combat on several planets. In Mass Effect Andromeda, resources are scarce and it’s up to you to make allies or enemies, the choice is yours. Choose to be diplomatic, or choose to go in guns blazing, every planet will have its own story.

The Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay trailer shows some amazing new combat unseen in previous Mass Effect games, however fans of the series will definitely immediately see similarities with the original trilogy. Check out the trailer below:

In Mass Effect Andromeda, players get to play as both Scott Ryder and Sarah Ryder, and switch between the two at will. The characters could be anywhere in the Andromeda galaxy, so players do not necessarily need to have the twins fighting side by side.
