Marvelous announces Valhalla Knights 3, Senran Kagura, and Muramasa for PlayStation Vita

September 19, 2012

Direct from Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show conference (it just finished!), Japanese publisher Marvelous Entertainment has announced three new titles for the PlayStation Vita.

First up is Valhalla Knights 3, sequel to the action role playing game Valhalla Knights 2 for the PlayStation Portable. Details on the story, and gameplay mechanics, are yet to be revealed.

Next we have Senran Kagura: Shinobi Versus, a new entry in the Senran Kagura series. First released as Senran Kagura for the 3DS, the franchise, which follows a band of absurdly large busted female ninjas, was later adapted into a manga. The PlayStation Vita entry will be a new title, and not a port of the 3DS release. We believe it is unlikely to leave Japan.

Lastly there’s Oboro Muramasa, or as we know it, Muramasa: The Demon Blade. A spruced up port of the gorgeous 2009 release, this Vita iteration boasts clean graphics and additional gameplay content.

All three titles are scheduled to release in Japan in the first half of 2013. Localisation is yet to be confirmed.
