If you thought that only the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC were going to be graced by the HD re-release of Sega’s classic graffiti-spraying action game, Jet Set Radio, then we’ve got some good news for you. Sega have announced today that the Dreamcast game, originally released back in November 2000, will also be coming to Sony’s new handheld in Australia. The PS Vita version will have exclusive features, ranging from new touch functionality that will make spraying graffiti more intuitive, to camera integration. Sega promise that the handheld version will not lose any content, and will be a release that’s as true to the original as those coming to consoles.

Haruki Satomi, Senior Vice President of Digital Business at SEGA said:

The fan reaction to our recent reveal ofJet Set Radio has been incredible! As Jet Set Radio is focused on creativity, the touch capabilities of the PlayStation VITA are proving to be a perfect fit.”

The PS Vita version will be available during Winter this year, so you won’t have long to wait. The game will be playable for the first time at this year’s E3 Expo in June, which Rocket Chainsaw will be attending.

A well-rounded gamer who believes that no matter the platform, there will always be great games to be found. Whether it's for handheld, PC, or console - he'll play it. Well, as long as he's not too busy getting stuck into the latest RPG.
