Ubisoft has released a 25 minute film, titled Ghost Recon: Alpha, acting as a direct lead-in for the next entry in its Tom Clancy-branded military franchise, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
The description reads that the film “invites you into the future of war with the US Armed Forces’ point of spear”. The short gives a good portrayal of what players might expect in the game, with the Ghosts’ employing some futuristic weapons and equipment. Despite going by rather quickly, Ghost Recon: Alpha is really one of the best transitions from the virtual environment to the movie screen.
Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is set for release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on May 24.
