During this morning’s Nintendo Direct presentation, Nintendo formally revealed Fire Emblem Heroes for Android and iOS.

Fire Emblem Heroes is a free-to-play title that will feature an original story and sees the heroes from all Fire Emblem timelines band together to take down an evil empire. The game is played in portrait mode on an 8×6 grid, with gameplay being classic Fire Emblem turn-based strategy. There is also a ton of new animations and voice work.

Fire Emblem Heroes will be coming to Android first on February 2, with pre-registration being available on Google Play later today. An iOS release date will be announced at a later time.
