The original Fallout is something of a PC classic, and the folks at GOG.com are having a fallout week, with an excellent story (the first in a series) on the game’s development and history. To mark the occasion, the game itself is free on GOG.com right for the next day or two.

You’ll need to make an account to download it, but that’s a small price to pay to get one of the greatest PC games ever. Especially when you consider that you also get the game’s complete manual, a set of wallpapers, the Fallout Bible and the game’s soundtrack.

There really isn’t any excuse not to get this (well, unless you own a Mac, I guess…), so hop to it!
