E3 2016: Doom demo, updates coming

During their E3 2016 conference, Bethesda revealed they would be releasing a Doom demo on PC, Xbox One and PS4.

The demo, due out later today, will be the first level of the final build. Also revealed were free updates to Doom Snapmap including Hell visual themes, props, objects, weapons and items. There will also be more logic options and functionality, allowing players to create single-player experiences.

On the multiplayer front, new modes will be coming next month including Classic Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, and Capture & Hold. The Unto the Evil DLC pack, also due out next month, will add three new multiplayer maps, new equipment and weapons, and a new player-controlled Demon, the Harvester.
