NIS America and Sony have announced that the PS Vita classics Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair will be coming to PS4 early next year via a bundle called Dangaronpa 1&2: Reload.

The games are visual murder mystery novels, revolving around students being isolated in an environment. The only way a student can escape is if they kill a peer and not be caught in a subsequent investigation and trial.

This marks the first occasion the games have been released on a home console in the West. A spin-off title, Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, was released on PS Vita in 2015. A fully fledged sequel, New Danganronpa V3: Minna no Koroshiai Shingakki, is set to appear on both Vita and PS4 in January 2017 in Japan. A Western release has yet to be confirmed.

The Reload bundle sounds like the perfect opportunity for PS4 owners to be introduced to the franchise and catch up on the story line.
