  • NEWS: Word on the street is that the SimCity launch has been plagued by problems ranging from connectivity to credit card issues. Fingers crossed things will be resolved for the Australian launch tomorrow, although it’s not too likely.
  • NEWS: Minecraft developer Mojang has revealed in an interview with iGamer that their flagship title could be someday arrive on PlayStation 3. As Edge reports, Wii U owners look like they’ll miss out on the love… at least for the foreseeable future.
  • NEWS: Mass Effect 3 is hosting a multiplayer event this week. Titled Operation Lodestar, players will have five days to work through the various missions and tiers before scooping up bragging rights and rewards.
  • NEWS: If you thought Tekken 6 was Snoop Dogg/Lion’s last foray into video games, think again. The rapper is apparently planning to release a rhythm-action game for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, iOS, and Android called Way of the Dogg. The story is a revenge tale, which doesn’t seem all that surprising, somehow. This may be worth keeping an eye on, if only for sheer novelty value.
  • NEWS: Humble Indie Bundle 5 has been launched and this round includes Android versions of the games as well. This time the games featured are Beat Hazard UltraDynamite JackSolar 2NightSky HDSuper Hexagon and Dungeon Defenders.
  • NEWS: Still in the world of mobile games, endless runner Temple Run 2 has teamed up with Disney and released a themed version of the game (unsurprisingly titled Temple Run: Oz) to celebrate the upcoming release of Oz. This isn’t the first time the Temple Run folks have done this; last year’s release of Pixar’s Brave saw them create a version promoting that as well.
