  • NEWS: The Tyranny of King Washington ends today. Ubisoft has sent out a press release alerting Assassin’s Creed III fans that the third and final entry in the DLC series, titled The Redemption, can now be purchased and downloaded on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
  • NEWS: The final round of THQ’s assets have been sold, and Nordic Games are sitting on quite a pile of IPs. The publisher managed to pick up the rights to Red Faction, Darksiders, the MX series, as well as numerous licensed and smaller IP franchises like de Blob. Gearbox Software managed to grab the Homeworld series, meanwhile 505 Games picked up Drawn to Life. The fate of all franchises remains unknown, though Gearbox has indicated plans to re-release the first to Homeworld games in some form, meanwhile Nordic Games is teasing that we’ll bee seeing more of Darksiders in the future.
  • VIDEO: Call of Juarez: Gunslinger has been dated for 22 May on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Techland have provided a new gameplay trailer, showing off the faster Western gunplay, and new graphical style.

  • NEWS: Upcoming madhouse sandbox game Saint’s Row IV is offering free upgrades to the Commander in Chief edition to all pre-orders. This version will enhance the base package with a Screaming Eagle jet, ‘Merica weapon, and Uncle Sam outfit. Participating Australian retailers have yet to be announced.
  • NEWS: Konami has issued a press release confirming they’re still celebrating Metal Gear‘s birthday. Later this year, June to be precise, the publisher will release Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection, a pack containing Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2 HD, Metal Gear Solid 3 HD, Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD, and the Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions pack. You’ll also get two Ashley Woods digital graphic novels to go along with all those games. If you’re new to Metal Gear we can’t think of a better starting point.
