20th Century Fox has released a clip for the upcoming Assassin’s Creed film.
The clip is relatively short, showing protagonist Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) getting jacked into the Animus for the first time by Dr Sophia Rikkin (Marion Cotillard). In the film Callum is captured by modern day Templar organisation Abstergo Industries, who intend to use his genetic memories to research Assassin Aguilar during the Spanish Inquisition.
Directed by Justin Kurzel (Snowtown, Macbeth) and also staring the likes of Jeremy Irons, Michael K. Williams, Brendan Gleeson and Ariane Labed, the Assassin’s Creed film is due to hit Australian cinemas on January 1 2017.
