Because apparently iOS is the new way to experience all of Cave’s bullet hell goodness, the company has announced the seemingly inevitable port of Bug Princess 2 (aka Mushihimesama Futari). Like the original Mushihimesama (but unlike all the other Cave iOS ports), it will be a universal app, running on both iPad and iPhone.

The game will feature all the usual Cave iOS trimmings, with multiple screen modes, button modes and touch controls, as well as offering difficulty levels from the novice up to the full arcade bullet-hell difficulty. Yep, that’s right: Now you can fight the hardest video game boss ever on your phone.

The game will be out on April 5, for a special introductory price of US$4.99, which will presumably translate to AU$5.49. In the meantime, you can enjoy this trailer, which features the banging Stage 1 music…
