Capcom wants your art and music for Street Fighter’s anniversary

April 19, 2012

Does the fact that Street Fighter is 25 years old make you feel ancient? Ancient or not, if you have some degree of artistic and/or musical talent, developer and publisher Capcom is looking for fanworks to use in an “official capacity” down the road.

The announcement, made on Capcom Unity, is calling for art with a celebratory and nostalgic emphasis that will reflect the nature of the series’ milestone. Music-wise, they’re looking for remixes or original tunes inspired by the franchise.

No word what these will actually be used for, but I’m sure there are lots of fans out there jumping at the chance to honour the games.
