During this year’s New York Comic Con, Capcom have announced a new downloadable title, Darkstalkers Resurrection. The game will include two classic arcade games, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 as a single bundled package. The game is being developed by Iron Galaxy Studios, who also worked on Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online. Both of them will be fancier than ever, with HD graphical filters, the ability to share replays via Youtube, 8 player spectator mode, tutorial challenge mode, and a vault where players will be able to unlock concept art and videos. The online play will feature the same GGPO netcode as Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online. Darkstalkers Resurrection will be available in early 2013, for 1600 MS Points on the Xbox Live Marketplace and $14.99 USD on the PlayStation Store.

Will be giving this a miss as I’m not really a Darkstalkers fan. Should be good to drum up some interest in the sequel that Ono wants to make though.
