Today Microsoft has revealed a massive sale is coming to the Xbox One Marketplace, in fact they’re calling it the biggest Xbox Store sale ever, with up to 60% off new release games. Dead Rising 4, Final Fantaxy XV, Gears of War 4, Dishonored 2, Battlefield 1 and countless other titles are mentioned in the trailer, as well as 40 backwards compatible Xbox 360 games.

From December 21- January 9, Xbox One and Xbox 360 owners can also upgrade to Gold for $1 for the first month of membership. Note that discounts will vary by region. Terms & Conditions apply.

Countdown includes deals for both Xbox One and Xbox 360, with titles up to 60 percent off, including discounts on some of this year’s most popular games, like Final Fantasy XV, Battlefield 1, Watch Dogs 2 and many more! If that’s not enough choose from over 40 backward compatible titles on sale!

We’re hoping it will also include some of the amazing DLC we’ve seen released in 2016, such as the award winning The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine expansion pack. The Biggest Xbox Store sale ever will run from 22 December 2016 to 9 January 2017, so if you don’t get what you want for Christmas, there’s still time in the weeks that follow.
