Bethesda Tease Possible Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind / Vvardenfell Expansion

January 30, 2017

A few hours ago the Elder Scrolls Online social media pages began lighting up with activity with Bethesda teasing a possible Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind / Vvardelfell expansion. The screenshots (and now subsequent nine second video) shows a dark ground which looks very much like a zoomed-in volcano, which Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind was famous for.

Bethesda have told us a full announcement regarding the tease will be made on their official Twitch page on January 31, 11 AM PST, 2 PM EST (which works out to February 1, 6 AM for the east coast of Australia).

Check out the short video Bethesda tweeted moments ago:

Elder Scrolls Online is Bethesda’s leap in to the world of massively multi-player role-playing games, and their competitor for the genre-dominating World of Warcraft. While it had a rocky launch period in mid 2014 and has since become free to play, the community has only grown particularly since the game launched on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in June 2015.

If this announcement is indeed an Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind / Vvardelfell expansion, we expect it will even catch the eye of fans of the Elder Scrolls series whom may have dismissed the original MMORPG.

Check back here in two days for all the details on the possible Elder Scrolls Online Morrowind / Vvardenfell expansion.
