Bethesda shows Imperial City, hints at Dark Brotherhood for ESO

As part of its E3 conference, Bethesda has shown a teaser for some new areas being added to itsĀ Elder Scrolls Online MMO. The game, which recently switched from a subscription model to a pay-to-play model, is expected to add new content later this year. Part of this content is the Imperial City, best known for its appearance in Oblivion, and currently locked off in the PvP area of Cyrodiil.

The brief teaser also showed off the Orc capital of Orsinium, which was promised as far back as the launch of ESO, but is still yet to make its appearance. Neither city is being added as an expansion, but will rather be part of a future content update to the game.

Bethesda also left hints that the band of assassins and murderers from previous Elder Scrolls titles will soon be appearing in Elder Scrolls Online. Here’s the trailer in full:
