Marked as the third major content update for Battlefield 3, the Armoured Kill expansion pack looks to add the following to the core experience:

• Four new maps, including the biggest map in Battlefield history, along with a snow themed map.
• Five new vehicles, including ATVs, mobile artillery, tank destroyers, and a gunship.
• “Tank superiority mode”, whatever that is.
• Five new assignments, we assume tied to either five new weapons or unlocks for the new vehicles.

Battlefield 3: Armoured Kill is set to launch in September. As always, Premium owners will get the expansion pack two weeks earlier than the rest of the world.
