Two ANZ teams secure spots for final showdown at Call of Duty XP

July 26, 2016

The Call of Duty World League Championship is fast approaching at the start of September, and two teams from Australia/New Zealand have found spots as regional qualifiers.

Champs Squad and Chiefs eSports Club will join previous qualifiers from the Pro Division Stage 2 Finals, and will head to Los Angeles for the Championship for 1-4 September, for a chance to take part in the over $2 million prize pool. The prize is the biggest single event prize in the history of the Call of Duty competition. They join MindFreak and Orbit, who are already qualified for the CWL Championship.

Also qualifying are the European teams Exertus eSports, Epsilion eSports and Team LDLC from the UK, Giants Gaming from Spain, Supremacy from France and Cappeh Academy, Revoltables and Vitality from a mixed European make-up.

A live broadcast to determine the grouping of all teams will take place on 15 August, on http://twitch.tv/callofduty.
