First revealed all the way back in 2006 (after a cancelled 2001 title of the same name), Aliens: Colonial Marines was rapidly reaching Duke Nukem Forever levels of schedule slip. That is, until today, where Sega have revealed that the title will be available globally on February 13 2013 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, with a Wii U version to follow later in the year.

Gearbox Software are hard at work on getting this game ready for release. The game is intended to be a true sequel to James Cameron’s 1986 movie masterpiece, but takes place after the events of the next sequel, Alien 3.

Sega have also produced a nice trailer for the game, which you can view below.
