Just Cause 3: Mech Land Assault DLC dated

June 1, 2016

The second pack from Just Cause 3’s planned triptych of Air, Land and Sea DLC offerings will drop for season pass holders on June 3rd, with a wider release following on June 10th.

Featuring a host of new features, including two controllable Mechs, weaponry including the physics based GRIP (Gravitational Remote Influence Projector) and a Bavarium Power Core Rifle and the opportunity to earn upgrades in Mech arena challenges, Mech Land Assault sees Rico Rodriguez explore the new location of Lacrima, an island that serves as a base for the enigmatic Black Hand.

“The Bavarium Wingsuit from the Sky Fortress DLC fundamentally changed how Rico could traverse Medici. This time, we wanted to shake up how Rico interacts with his environment in a similar way,” explained Tobias Andersson, Senior Producer at Avalanche Studios.

“The new Mechs allow Rico to throw enemies, vehicles and chaos objects around like tennis balls – increasing the scope for physics-based fun. Whether you’re juggling a small car or punching helicopters out of the sky, the Mechs give you the opportunity to mess with your surroundings in creative, explosive ways.”

Priced at AUD $17.95 or bundled in with the Air, Land & Se Expansion Pass for $37.95, Mech Land Assault will be followed by Bavarium Sea Heist, planned to release during the latter part of winter.
